Ingredients
- 800g minced pork
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 shallot
- half a thai red pepper
- 2 tbs sugar
- 4 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tbs oyster sauce
- 1 tbs fish sauce
- basil leaves - as many as you would like
- 3 eggs
Instructions
- Fry up some sunny side up eggs and set them aside.
- Mince garlic, shallots, and pepper, then sauté them in a pan.
- Turn the heat to high, add in the minced pork, break it into small bits, and let it crisp up.
- While the pork is cooking, mix up the sauce using sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and fish sauce.
- Once the pork turns a honey-like color, pour in the sauce.
- When the meat is golden-brown and crispy—meaning all the moisture has cooked off—toss in the basil leaves.
- Serve hot with rice and the sunny side up eggs on top.
